Chapter: 1197
“What is the title of this group supposed to mean? You should change it."

"You Little brat, what do you know?" Aimee asked.

Bethany woke up sometime later and saw the notifications from the group chat. She opened the chat box and realized that Aimee and Rowan were arguing.

Last night, she made sure to put the children to sleep before she went back to her apartment.

After all, it was embarrassing for her to live in Jonathan's place.

Aimee directed a message to Bethany in the group chat box. “Hey, Bethany. Shall we meet at the airport or schedule an appointment? Is Jonathan with you?"

Bethany was brushing her teeth when she saw the message and replied, "I'm currently not with Jonathan."

Aimee texted back, "In that case, I'll ask Nikolas to call him."

Bethany went on to put on light face makeup for the night and packed a few stuff into her small box. Glancing at her phone, she noticed that Aimee was chatting with her privately.

“Bethany, hurry downstairs after you get your stuff packed up. Jonathan is downstairs. Don't keep him waiting.”

Was Jonathan waiting downstairs?

Bethany hurried to the window and looked outside. She saw his car but he was not anywhere around, so she assumed that he must be waiting in the car.

She blamed him for not telling her he had been waiting for her so she would hurry up.

She grabbed her suitcase, turned off the water and gas controls, and hurried off. On opening the door, she was surprised to see Jonathan standing there.

"Why didn't you knock?"

She was surprised to see him waiting for her by the door and not inside the car.

He took the suitcase from her and said, "I just got here."

Bethany glanced at him in doubt.

Jonathan must be a patient man, good with waiting.

She ran through memory lane and recalled how he would wait for her for a long time. Bethany, on the other hand, could get impatient waiting for people, especially when she wasn't sure they would show up. It made her anxious.

Outside, Jonathan didn't put her suitcase into the car trunk but on the back seat instead.

She had no choice but to sit by him in the passenger seat.

“Get in. Firstly, we'll have to pick Rowan and Nola up back at East Shade Bay before going to the airport."

Bethany went ahead to open the passenger seat and sat.
