So Ryan had bought out an entire unit to hide the antidote.

Bethany realized she had underestimated his cunning. He always seemed to take reckless risks, but in doing so, he managed to keep himself hidden in plain sight.

Had Jayson not sent the location, Jonathan would likely have started his search in remote areas, eventually working his way towards the city, or begun his search from the city and moved towards the suburbs. The location would have provided Ryan sufficient time to relocate the antidote.

At first, it appeared Ryan had accidentally encountered Samira and learned about the poison, using the antidote as leverage to manipulate Jonathan and her. However, now she realized Ryan had been prepared all along.
