Bethany was taken aback to see her, then smiled warmly. "You're here early."

She was still getting used to the idea of having an assistant.

"It's my first day on the job, and I was so excited I couldn't sleep, especially after meeting Mr. Bates in person yesterday. This job is totally worth it." Adele's eyes lit up with excitement as she spoke of Jonathan. Her enthusiasm mirrored that of Aimee from years ago.

Bethany offered words of encouragement. “Work hard."

"I will!" Adele placed the documents she was holding onto Bethany's desk. "I came in early to start organizing the files. I figured it was better to have everything prepared, even if it might not be needed."
