Jonathan scooped his little girl into his arms. "Nola, for the next nine months, you must be gentle when hugging your mommy. No running tackles!"

Nola's head tilted in confusion. "Why?"

“Because she has a baby growing in her tummy! You're going to be a big sister!"

“Will I have a little sister?" Nola's eyes sparkled with excitement, her dark gaze dancing. "Someone to wear pretty dresses with me!"

Jonathan planted a kiss on his daughter's cheek. "I will buy you lots of beautiful dresses, okay?"
