Nikolas made his way into the living room, flashing a sly grin as he tapped the small bag he'd brought along, looking like he held a well-guarded secret. "No need to bother Brody. I've got everything we need right here."

"Plums? What all did you bring?" Jonathan asked, trailing behind him into the kitchen, intent on getting the lay of the Land.

If this drink really soothed Bethany's morning sickness, he wanted to be prepared for the next time she needed it.

Once they were in the kitchen, Nikolas dove into his bag, rummaging around theatrically before dramatically revealing a small packet. "Ta-da!" he announced, grinning ear to ear as he held it out. "Instant plum drink mix!"
