Chapter: 331
“When we were in junior high, you sketched your dream wedding in art class," Jonathan said softly beside her.

Hearing that, Bethany was taken aback.

That had been many years ago.

Bethany remembered that the art teacher had been teaching them about drawing scenery and basic composition skills.

Back then, she had glanced at her classmates’ works, and found that they were either painting places they had visited or their homes.

Bethany hadn't traveled, nor had she had her own home, so she had decided to draw the grand wedding of her imagination.

In her mind, the bride and groom loved each other so much that they didn't have eyes for anything else. After the wedding, they would create a happy family, perhaps with a lovely baby.

She envied that baby, as it would grow up in a complete family.

After all this time, Bethany had never expected Jonathan to remember that.

Back then, she had drawn it casually.

As for why there were roses everywhere, it was simply because that was the only thing the art teacher had taught them to draw till then.

"I still have that painting."

Jonathan produced the painting out of nowhere, as if by magic.

If her name wasn't written at the bottom, Bethany would have forgotten that she was the one who painted this.

“Wait, how do you have this painting?"

Bethany recalled handing the painting over to the teacher back then.

The art teacher always collected their drawings as homework once they finished.

“I asked the art teacher for it," Jonathan replied casually.

Bethany was left speechless.

“Because of this, the art teacher knew I liked you back then,"

Jonathan continued, with his gaze fixed on her. "Then the chemistry teacher found out, and then the head teacher. They all knew."

That was why their seats had been always next to each other, never separated until graduation.

But Bethany had no idea.

At that time, she had been so focused on studying and working that she hadn't thought about anything else.
