"Yeah! He's right here with me."

"The child's a boy?"

Nikolas confirmed, "It has to be a boy. I saw it clearly when I bathed him last night. That's why I asked if you were certain Bethany had a daughter and not a son."

“It's a girl. And she doesn't resemble Jonathan."

“Okay! I guess I got it wrong then."

Ryan smiled, feeling a wave of relief wash over him.

It Looked like Jonathan didn't love Bethany as much as he pretended.

If he had a son, then he must have slept another woman. He was just putting on the act of being devoted to Bethany.

"You shouldn't be surprised," Ryan said. "He's in a high position. There are countless women who want to be with him. Sure, he can turn them down once or twice, but can he keep doing that every time? If he can't control himself, it's likely that some women will end up pregnant. If even one woman gets pregnant, she'll probably keep the baby. It could change her life for the better."

He believed that was the story.

"You're not wrong, but I'm still shocked he would sleep with another woman." Nikolas curled his lips in disdain. “Is this what they call love? Just a lie! I might as well keep having fun! I really don't get these adult romantic games!"

“Why are you so shocked? You're a guy, aren't you?"

“Of course I am! The truth is, Jonathan loves Bethany deeply."

"Men can love one woman and sleep another. Besides, they divorced years ago. It's natural for him to have desires. That also means your friend is moving on. Isn't that a good thing for you?"

Nikolas paused, considering everything before nodding. "It's definitely a positive development. But now he suddenly has a son. I can't help but think he's completely bewildered."

Nikolas' voice rose. “Hey! I can tell you've got some serious issues with Jonathan."
