"Who do you think you are to me? I don't need your coaxing." Aimee was determined to put as much distance between herself and Nikolas as possible before leaving Wesden.

She'd already given him a piece of her mind and injured his hand. It felt like poetic justice.

Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined getting tangled up with Nikolas, a silver-spoon playboy. She should've steered clear of him from the get-go.

“Oh please, you are truly delusional!" Aimee looked at Nikolas with disdain, her eyes like daggers. "Me, your girlfriend? Look in the mirror. No, even if you are good-looking, I can't be with someone who's been discarded by Maddie."

If Maddie didn't want him, why on earth would Aimee?

Nikolas knew how much Maddie loved Jonathan.

"So, you don't have a crush on her?"

Aimee rolled her eyes. "I won't touch anything or anyone Maddie has had something to do with. So don't flatter yourself! I admit I thought you were handsome on the plane. But once I got to know you, I realized you just have a handsome face. Your personality doesn't attract me at all."

“I know you don't lack women. It's just inconvenient for you to find one in Wesden right now, but I'm not going to be your girlfriend. If you're that desperate, hit the town and find someone else. Or hire a prostitute, but don't even think about me."
