Chapter: 84
"Yes."

“Email them to me. I need them right away."

Bethany hesitated, her brow furrowing. “But... that's not allowed. If it's urgent, you should have Carson send them to you."

After all, such technical drawings were highly confidential, especially those detailing core technologies.

"There's no time. The contract needs an additional section marked, and I need to review it before our legal team can finalize everything," said Maddie.

Bethany remained quiet for a moment.

Maddie sounded extremely urgent, her tone almost commanding. “Don't delay. The lawyer from Ensson Corporation is waiting. Just email it here."

With that, she abruptly ended the call.

Shortly after, an email address appeared on Bethany's phone.

Given that Maddie was the chief lawyer for Bates Group, Bethany trusted that she wouldn't do anything to jeopardize the company. Thus, she opened the document for the Zucron Company project and sent the required information.

Upon reaching the industrial and commercial department, Bethany exited the car and spotted Brody standing beside Jonathan.

Was Jonathan already finished with his tasks?

“Come on, we're just waiting for your confirmation and signature,"

Brody called out, beckoning her over.

Bethany hurried towards them in high heels, nodding to Jonathan as she passed.

She followed Brody, keenly observing his interactions with the staff, reminding herself that she was here to learn.

With everything resolved, the business trip concluded successfully.

Now, they just had to wait.

As she stepped out the building, Jonathan still stood there, a cigarette in hand.

He was always dressed impeccably for work, his suit pristine and hair neatly styled. Even in the heat of summer, he never opted for short sleeves.

“Everything done?" he asked.

"Yes." Bethany nodded.

"As a treat, I'm buying dinner tonight." Jonathan extinguished his cigarette and threw it in the trash.

“Thank you, Mr. Bates!"
