Chapter: 988
Siena looked aggrieved and gestured with her hands. "I came there to see you! I had no idea Aimee would be at your villa! Didn't you promise... You told me you wouldn't bring any women there."
"She's my fiancée! She lives there now!"
Siena was rendered speechless.
Nikolas, growing more irritated, found himself craving a cigarette.
He had rushed out so quickly that he hadn't brought any.
Pacing back and forth, hands on hips, he finally faced Siena and said, "Regarding the child, we need to go together one day so she can have a DNA test."
Siena turned pale, and her eyes welled up.
"You question my loyalty?"
“Shouldn't I?" Nikolas threw the question back at her. “Siena, we broke up five or six years ago! We only slept together that one time by accident. You claim you had my child. I need proof, don't I? What if the child isn't mine?"
Before Nikolas could finish, Siena raised her hand, ready to slap him!
But Nikolas was much taller. To reach his face, she'd have to jump.
So before Siena could strike him, Nikolas caught her arm and pressed her against the wall.
"You think you can hit me? I've warned you I'll defend myself, regardless of your gender. That's just how straightforward I am."
“Nikolas, you are the only man I've been with. How can you question my loyalty!"
“I didn't put a tracker on you. How would I know who else you've been with?" Nikolas didn't mince his words. “Even if you claim in court that the child is mine, you need to provide proof!"
"Fine!" Siena gritted her teeth and said, "You want a DNA test for the child, I'll bring her! I'll let you have it! But I swear, when she's old enough, I'll tell her what a monster her father is! Her father didn't believe she was his child!"
“Whatever. I don't care."
Nikolas believed that as long as Aimee's child didn't resent him, nothing else mattered.
Living in high society, he had seen his share of scandals involving illegitimate children. It was almost commonplace.
He had only one; some families had seven or eight. Was it necessary to raise every illegitimate child with such care?
“Do you truly not care about our daughter? She shares your blood."
"You gave birth to her without asking me, and now you expect me to display fatherly affection? Are you joking?" The thought of this child gave Nikolas a headache. How could he possibly feel any paternal affection?
Ever since he found out, Nikolas kept wondering what Aimee would think.
He had won her over after so many difficulties, and now he was really afraid that if he told her the truth, she would break up with him.
