Chapter: 993
Bethany looked helplessly at Rowan, absorbed in his laptop.

"Did you hear that?"

“She was running too fast. She tripped and pulled me down with her!"

Rowan closed his laptop and showed his scraped knees to Bethany. "See, that's why I didn't say sorry."

Bethany pulled Nola in front of her, keeping a firm expression.

“Nola, it's wrong to put blame on others just because you're favored. Do you understand?"

"But I said sorry to Rowan first, and he didn't apologize back."

Nola's eyes welled up with tears.

"Huh! Girls can be such a handful," Rowan muttered as he got up and approached Nola. "Okay, I'm sorry, alright?"

Nola instantly brightened, wiping away her tears. “I forgive you, Brother!"

Bethany was left speechless. She now understood just how challenging managing family affairs could be.

Suddenly, the screen on Rowan's laptop turned black.

Rowan dashed over and frantically hit the recovery button, but to no avail!

“Mommy, where's Daddy? I need him to fix this for me!"

“He's in a meeting right now, very busy. You can't bother him."

"But my laptop isn't working!" Rowan tugged at Bethany's hand, desperate to say more.

Right at that moment, Bethany's phone started to ring.

"Play on your own for now. I need to answer the phone! Rowan, Daddy will be back once he's done with work. Be a good boy."

Rowan, feeling anxious, could only nod in agreement at that moment.

"Okay..."

Bethany then answered the phone after stepping out of the kids’ room.

“Hello, B7."

"Jonathan has accessed the video on your USB! He took over my computer. If I'm not wrong, he must have deleted the video."

“What?" Bethany was in disbelief at what she just heard.
