Chapter: 591
Naturally, their passion ignited once more.

Caden, captivated by her body, pleaded softly, "Just let me linger a bit longer, then we can clean up. How does that sound?"

Alicia felt her cheeks flush a deep crimson.

She could not find it in herself to refuse him.

Caden draped the thin blanket over their intertwined forms.

Alicia's curiosity broke through the haze of the moment. "Are you considering marriage with someone?"

Caden lazily opened his half-closed eyes. “What is that question all about?"

Alicia blinked in surprise. "If you are not, then what is with the grand surprise?"

She understood Caden well enough to know he would not go out of his way to show such thoughtfulness without a purpose.

Caden, irritated yet amused, actually chuckled.

He playfully nudged her, "And what if I really am? Would you crash the wedding?"

Alicia's eyes widened in surprise.

"You have an inflated view of my capabilities. With all the enemies you have made, I can only imagine you would have armed guards surrounding the venue," she said, shaking her head. "I would never manage to pull that off."

Caden pressed on. "So, you would simply stand by and watch me tie the knot with someone else?"

“What other choice do I have?" Alicia replied. Her curiosity piqued.

He stared at her, unblinking, as if searching for something deeper in her eyes.

A mysterious smile crept across his face. "I understand."

Alicia stifled a yawn, shifting her position slightly.

“It is time to get up," she murmured. “We should wash up and then sleep."

Caden, however, had other plans. He tightened his grip on her waist and pressed her down firmly.

Alicia felt a shiver run through her body. "You. What do you think you are doing?"

He had assured her this would be the final time.

Caden quieted her with a kiss, resuming their passionate encounter.

“Alicia, today has made me incredibly happy," he confessed.

Once they settled back together, Caden leaned in, whispering sweetly in her ear.

Alicia instinctively covered her ears. "They say a man's words in moments like these are never to be trusted."

For a moment, Caden found himself at a loss for words.

Then, he began to share his story about Lina.

Alicia suddenly felt wide awake. “Are you truly going to create an intelligent robot that fully replaces humans?"

"Absolutely."
