Chapter: 592
Rather than deflating his enthusiasm, she responded earnestly, "I genuinely hope you achieve that."

“It is nearly complete. Yolanda has played a crucial role in the project."

Caden appreciated talent, and Yolanda certainly had plenty.

He admired her skills genuinely.

Alicia couldn't help but smile, feeling happy for him.

"That's wonderful. I've heard so much about the Moss family's achievements. They're truly impressive," she remarked.

Caden nodded thoughtfully. “Dorian is getting older, and Yolanda hasn't been well. I need to put my other projects on hold for the time being."

Alicia held back any questions about Yolanda's condition.

She'd learned not to pry into Caden's personal affairs too deeply, worried that showing too much interest would pull her back into emotional complications she had barely escaped before.

But to say she didn't care at all—that would be a lie.

"Hey, Caden," Alicia suddenly remembered something and gently nudged him. “Could you remind the housekeeper to feed Cade tomorrow morning?"

“Sure thing," he replied, squeezing her hand as she reached out.

Her hand was slender and soft, though recently, she had developed some calluses on her fingertips from signing numerous documents.

“What's with the rough spots?" he asked, running his thumb over her fingers.

Alicia glanced down. “Just too much paperwork lately."

“Are you left-handed?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

Alicia nodded. "My dad didn't like that I was left-handed. He tried to correct it when I was young, but I still feel more natural using my left hand."

She paused, her mind drifting to the past. Before her divorce, she always felt confined, constantly striving to meet everyone else's expectations.

But opening her gallery had changed that; for the first time, she felt like she was finally living for herself.

She looked at Caden with a soft, genuine warmth. "Thank you, Caden."

Caden's response was a Light chuckle. He leaned in, his lips meeting hers in a tender kiss.

As they parted, her eyes twinkled mischievously, "Just don't forget Cade, okay?"

Caden let out a thoughtful sigh and lay back, gazing at the ceiling.

“Maybe I should change my name," he mused, half—joking.

Alicia laughed softly, cocooning herself in the blanket and rolling away to face the other side, drifting towards sleep.

The next morning, as Alicia stepped into her office, an anonymous package awaited her on the desk.

Thinking it was something she'd ordered online, she casually unwrapped it.

To her surprise, inside was a sleek, compact smart device about half a meter tall.

Recognizing it as one of Caden's company's latest releases, she assumed he'd sent it over for her to try.

With a small smile, she switched it on.
