Chapter: 768
Alicia often found herself overwhelmed by desire, rubbing against him until both were ablaze with heat.
Caden had maintained his abstinence for months, and any mention or thought of Alicia effortlessly ignited a fire within him.
Caden didn't just want a simple dinner with Alicia.
But after waiting this long, he wasn't about to blow it by rushing things. So, he stayed calm throughout the entire meal.
Alicia was a bit on edge at first, but when Caden finally grabbed his car keys, hinting he was about to leave, she started to feel relaxed.
As they stepped out of the restaurant, Caden suddenly took her hand, giving her palm a gentle rub.
"It's been a while since we last met. Want to walk me out?" Caden asked softly.
Alicia tried to pull her hand back, but he held on a little tighter.
She sighed and asked, "Do I even get to say no?"
Caden leaned in with a grin. "And what about a kiss? Can't say no to that, right?"
Alicia smirked back. “Funny, I just learned how to castrate someone. Want to give it a try?"
He didn't doubt her for a second.
He knew her kicks were sharp enough to knock someone flat.
Caden held her hand firmly as they headed to the car.
When Alicia realized he was actually about to leave, she felt a wave of relief.
Noticing the look on her face, Caden asked, "Are you working late tonight?"
Hoping to speed things up, Alicia answered calmly, "No."
"Is Blake at the same hotel as you?"
"Yeah."
"Is your room close to his?"
Caden leaned in, his voice soft as he continued, "Just be honest with me, and I'll let you go back sooner."
Alicia suddenly went quiet.
Her heart tightened up again after just starting to relax. She had a feeling that Caden wouldn't let her off that easy.
“No, we're two floors apart," she said calmly.
Caden teased, “Aren't you counting on him to protect you? If something happens, do you really think he can make it in time from two floors away?"
Alicia shrugged. "Oh, then I'll just switch to the room next to his tonight."
Caden's smile disappeared.
His gaze softened as he looked at her. “Are you still upset after all this time?"
Alicia tried to turn away. "I need to go."
But Caden pulled her close, their chests almost touching.
