Caden held her closer, responding, “A man has many roles to fulfill, particularly when needed."

Alicia considered his mischievous ways and inhaled deeply.

She quickly withdrew her hand. "Why aren't you dressed?"

Caden responded casually, “I didn't bring any clothes to change into."

“Don't they provide bathrobes at the hotel?"

“I'm allergic to their material."

“What?” Alicia called out his lie without mercy. “Then how come you're not allergic to my bathrobe?"

Caden glanced at her.

“Thanks for reminding me." He persuaded gently, “How about you take it off then?"

"No way." Alicia knew that whatever she might say, he would manipulate it.

She closed her eyes and turned her back to him, choosing to ignore him.

Caden embraced her from behind, turned her around, and kissed her Lips again.

When awake, the intimacy seemed even more overwhelming, pushing him towards irrationality.

Caden lowered his tone, attempting to please her. "You've forgiven me, haven't you?" He already knew the answer but asked regardless.

"You've missed me these days, haven't you?"

Alicia bit her lip, remaining quiet.

"If you were still mad, you wouldn't have let me in," Caden said, pressing his point further.

Alicia's voice was raspy. "If I ask you to leave now, would you go?"

Caden changed the topic. "Do you miss me, Lucky?"

Tears suddenly streamed down Alicia's cheeks.

Caden felt a pang in his heart and leaned in to kiss the tears away.

Alicia shivered slightly but stopped resisting.
