Chapter: 880
Alicia was only pretending to leave.

Determined to confront him, whether to hear his explanation or settle accounts, she steeled herself to get to the bottom of things today.

She turned around and glared at Caden. "What do you want me to do? Roll the condom on for you?"

Caden chuckled, amusement dancing in his eyes. “I don't have that habit, but if you are eager to take charge, I won't stop you."

He nonchalantly tossed his shirt into the trash, then shifted his gaze away from Alicia's piercing stare as he headed toward the bathroom. “Come in," he called over his shoulder.

When he reached the door, he added, “The one in the maid outfit."

Alicia was left speechless.

“I'm not your maid!" she roared in her heart, anger bubbling beneath the surface.

But since Caden had made that declaration, she figured the room must be safe.

With a reluctant sigh, she followed him into the bathroom.

To her surprise, Caden was nowhere to be found.

"Caden?" she called, her voice echoing in the vast room. The silence wrapped around her, tightening her heart. Just as she turned to leave, she collided with his solid chest.

Caden's hands gently gripped the back of her neck, compelling her to look up. He slowly removed her mask and kissed her.

Alicia couldn't remember how long it had been since they last met.

Was it a week or half a month?

However, no matter the duration, she missed him terribly.

The familiar kiss melted them together. Caden's tongue slid in as his strong arms wrapped around her waist, lifting her effortlessly and sitting her on the marble table.

Instinctively, Alicia hooked her arms around his neck.

Their longing spilled into each kiss. Lips and tongues entangled until the air around them grew warm, thick with anticipation.

However, Caden suddenly pulled away.

Alicia's eyes sparkled with confusion as she gazed at him.

With a teasing smile, Caden's gaze held her in place. “Who was it that just a minute ago was giving me the cold shoulder? Now look at you, turning soft with just one kiss."

Alicia's face flushed, reality snapping back into place as she scowled at him.

The memories of what she had seen in that private room came rushing back, sharp and vivid.

Incensed, she pushed him away. "Get off me!"

Caden barely budged, standing his ground. “I haven't even showered yet, and I'll deal with you once I have."

His chest rose and fell with a controlled restraint, a testament to his impatience.

Alicia turned her face away, muttering, "Well, I don't agree. Maybe you should go back to those other women — the ones in gowns or the innocent types dripping with charm. They're probably better suited for you than I am!"

Caden gently pinched Alicia's cheek, his touch light but teasing. “It was all for show. Are you that jealous?"

Alicia hadn't even noticed how deeply jealousy had settled in her chest.
