Chapter: 881
She retorted, "You seemed pretty committed to the act. Did it really require that much touching? Her chest must be at least a D-cup. Could you even hold it with one hand?"

Caden's lips curled into a smirk. "Did I touch her chest?"

Of course, he hadn't taken it that far - but his hand did brush along her thigh.

And he even slid his hand inside.

Alicia felt a flicker of guilt but refused to soften. “Who knows what else you did before I got there."

Caden raised an eyebrow, his tone laced with mischief. "I did touch it, and the feel was exquisite. They were much softer compared to your petite ones."

Fuming, Alicia swatted his hand away, a clear warning against his wandering touch. "Then go ahead and touch them!"

She tried to pull away, but the move only landed her back in his arms, his grip strong as iron.

She kicked and struggled like a wildcat.

Most women wouldn't dare challenge him, yet Caden only laughed, carrying her effortlessly toward the bathtub.

He placed her hand on his belt and said, "Unbuckle it for me. Help me with my bath."

Alicia glared, defiant. “I'll throw you in instead."

“Be my guest. Show me what you've got.”

His shameless challenge made her bristle, but struggling was futile.

Before she knew it, he had her in the tub.

Alicia's clothes were stripped away, leaving her to cling to Caden, seeking both warmth and security in his hold.

Reclining with her in the warm water, Caden held her close. "The man I was drinking with earlier, Marlon, holds significant sway here in Terriland. I'm working with him so that if anything ever goes south for me, he will have my back."

Alicia fell quiet, absorbing his words before finally asking, "Is it what I think it is?"

"Yes,"

Ammunition and firearms smuggling, human trafficking - every kind of illicit deal under the sun.

Alicia's face twisted with worry. "Why would you get involved with someone like that?"

Reading her unease, he explained, “I'm only hiring him. I have no intention of dipping my hands into his business. My main reason for seeking him out is because he had dealings with Corey before. Moreover, Corey once bought something from him."

Alicia couldn't help but ask, "What did Corey buy?"

"I don't plan to squeeze the truth out of him just yet. He is very tight-lipped and twice as wary. If I push too hard, I'll give myself away." Caden lifted her effortlessly, settling her legs around his waist. "But this trip wasn't without its rewards."

At least he had found out what Corey's weakness was.

Alicia tried to keep the conversation serious, but he was suddenly all over her, undeterred.

It had been a while since she'd put up with his persistence, and her cheeks flushed, though she managed a slight frown.

The water in the tub splashed wildly with their movement.

Alicia bit down on her hand, her voice muffled. "There is a girl outside."

Caden's voice came out low and rough. "I made sure she can't hear us."
