Chapter: 1763
The moment they left the room, a camera suddenly appeared at the far end of the corridor. It quickly took multiple shots, capturing Libby and Carson from behind.
However, the two of them didn't realize that someone had taken their photo.
Upon reaching the underground garage, Carson found his car waiting at the elevator exit, driven there by the valet. He took the car keys from the valet, walked around the front of the car, and got in.
As Libby stepped out of the elevator, her phone vibrated twice, indicating the arrival of a message.
She opened the message, only to discover it was sent anonymously. As Libby read the message's contents, a satisfied gleam flashed in her eyes before she promptly deleted it.
When Libby raised her head again, she noticed that Carson had already settled into the car, waiting for her. She hastened her steps and habitually approached the passenger seat, prepared to open the door.
But the door won't open.
She was taken aback for a moment and pulled the door handle two more times, but it still did not open.
In the next moment, the window rolled down slowly. Carson turned his head to look at Libby outside the car and said, "Sit in the back seat."
"Carson..." Gripping the car handle tightly, Libby bit her lip and noticed the coldness in Carson's gaze. She decided not to push further and replied meekly, "Alright." She then proceeded to the back seat, opened the door, and got in.
Aside from the buildings of Jimenez Group and Sullivan Group, the headquarters of Glory Group was also one of the tallest in CBD.
These three forty-five-floor buildings were next to each other, forming a triangle.
As soon as Carson's car stopped at the gate of the building, the secretary who had been waiting there stepped forward and opened the door for him.
"Mr. Scott, the directors of all departments are already waiting in the conference room."
"Okay." Carson nodded and threw the car keys to him.
As soon as the secretary took the keys, she saw Libby come out of the back seat. He was stunned for a moment. But he soon returned to normal and greeted her respectfully.
“Miss Moran.”
"Hello..." Libby gave the secretary a sweet smile. Then she turned to Carson and said, “Carson, you can go ahead with your work. I can take care of myself."
Carson glanced at her and responded perfunctorily.
Actually, he didn't care whether or not Libby would be bored waiting.
He didn't even bother to make arrangements for her.
In fact, he didn't realize what she said for a moment, so he just nodded coldly without much reaction. The secretary observed the interaction between Carson and Libby. Then he suggested, “Miss Moran, we happen to have a shooting with a popular female star today. If you feel bored, you can go to the set and watch."
"Shooting? That sounds interesting. I would love to watch it."
The secretary nodded.
