Chapter: 1764
“Okay. I can ask someone to bring you the work badge so you can enter the set."
Libby turned to look at Carson as if asking for his permission.
“When my meeting is over, I'll go to the set to see you," Carson said.
Libby smiled, and her eyes lit up.
"Okay! I'll wait for you at the set, then.
Carson just glanced at her without saying anything. Then, he walked towards the entrance. Libby put her hands behind her back and watched Carson leave with a smile.
In the eyes of other people, they looked like a passionately in love couple who were reluctant to be separated from each other.
The smile on Libby's face deepened when she noticed the envious eyes of the passers-by.
The secretary arranged for a receptionist at the front desk to take care of Libby. Then, he followed Carson to the elevator.
Carson had a hangover, so he still felt his temples throbbing violently. He leaned against the wall of the elevator and pinched his sore eyelids.
When the observant secretary saw this, he couldn't help asking, “Mr. Scott, do you want me to make you some coffee?"
“No need." Carson put his hand down and looked at the time on his watch. Then, he took out his phone and checked his messages. Except for some work-related messages, there were only messages from his friends. No one else contacted him.
His eyes darkened as he stared at the screen. It seemed Rosa didn't plan to contact him.
"There's a shooting today? What kind of shooting is it?" Carson turned to the secretary and asked after putting his phone away irritably.
“It's a commercial shot for our new products to be launched next season," the secretary replied politely.
Carson didn't pay much attention to the promotions of their products.
But for some reason, he felt that the elevator was a little slow today. It was so slow that he had time to think about what had happened last night. And Rosa's face kept flashing in his mind.
What annoyed him more was the fact that she didn't bother to send him even a single message. So, to divert his mind, he asked the secretary about today's shooting.
He asked again, "Who is the female star?"
“Jeanne Murray. She is a part of the costume drama that became popular some time ago and is still gaining momentum until now. The marketing department thinks her image is in line with our products.
And since she has been very popular recently, we can take advantage of this momentum to promote our new products."
Carson frowned and murmured, “Jeanne Murray... Why does her name sound a little familiar?"
"Maybe you've heard of her somewhere. After all, she has been really famous recently.”
Finally, the elevator dinged, indicating that they arrived at their destination.
