After a brief, chaotic struggle filled with Owen's shouts of pain, he was restrained.

Kaitlin, struggling with her exhaustion, stumbled from the car and collapsed into a familiar embrace.

Alan's gaze hardened as he surveyed her swollen cheek, anger flaring in his eyes.

"Take him away and make sure he talks!" Alan commanded, Lifting Kaitlin into his arms and stepping into the car.

Had his men not sensed the danger and informed him, he feared the worst might have occurred.

In the car, Kaitlin slumped against Alan, her energy fading fast, and she soon lost consciousness.

When she regained consciousness, she found herself in a hospital room.

Phoebe was there, sitting by her bedside, her eyes swollen from crying.

Seeing Kaitlin stir, Phoebe leaned forward, her voice shaky with emotion. "Kaitlin, are you okay? I blame myself... I should have sensed something was wrong when you called."

Kaitlin scanned the hospital room but didn't find Alan anywhere.

"I'm okay. Did Alan save me?"

Phoebe confirmed with a nod, “Yes, he asked me to come last night and stay with you, I'll call the doctor now."

Kaitlin nodded in response. After her examination, the doctor assured her that she was merely shaken up and prescribed plenty of rest.

Thankfully, the baby was still safe after the ordeal, which comforted her.

"What about the person who kidnapped me?" Kaitlin asked.

"Mr. Hewitt is questioning him. There's no update yet, so try not to worry," Phoebe assured her.

Feeling somewhat relieved, Kaitlin relaxed and tried to rest.

Meanwhile, Alan was confronting Owen, who had confessed under pressure.

"So you're saying Ashley told you to do this? She promised you money and a way out of the country?" Alan interrogated.

Owen nodded vigorously, his face pale and bruised.

From the previous night until now, he had been subjected to brutal torture.

Alan's men had used harsh methods to extract information.

Owen, who had initially resisted, now deeply regretted trusting Ashley's false promises.
