Chapter: 27
"Men are nothing but trouble. Trust in money instead. It never deceives you. Tell Alan Hewitt that Kaitlin accepts his offer and to leave her be. She'll find someone far better soon enough!" Phoebe remarked with a huff, pulling Kaitlin away.

Dylan, touching his nose, realized he couldn't possibly convey those words exactly as spoken.

"Phoebe, I really don't want to take this," Kaitlin protested.

"Are you out of your mind? You deserve every penny of that. Just move on and keep the check safe. Don't let yourself be duped again!"

With Phoebe's adamant persuasion, Kaitlin reluctantly agreed.

“I'm free tomorrow. I'll help you move and pick out some nice furniture. You have an apartment downtown. Just make sure you look after me!" Phoebe offered.

They laughed together, their spirits lifted by the jesting, as the evening suddenly seemed a lot lighter.

After settling into her new home, Kaitlin dedicated herself to advancing her career.

Oasis Studio was modest in size, prompting her to invest the money Alan had given her.

She organized her collection of unpublished design drafts, preparing to launch her own jewelry brand.

Three Drops provided daily updates, indicating that all was proceeding smoothly.

Meanwhile, Lilliana was experiencing a surge in her career, fetching higher prices for her designs.

Launching a jewelry brand was a costly endeavor, and although Phoebe was concerned about the financial aspect, Kaitlin had a strategy in mind.

Her plan hinged on leveraging Lilliana's current situation.

Together with Three Drops, she crafted a scheme to exploit the plagiarism controversy surrounding Lilliana.

Most designers hesitated to confront the Hewitt Group, choosing silence over conflict.

However, spreading rumors anonymously eliminated the risk of being identified.

With his extensive network, Three Drops had already secured collaborations with several designers.

When the evidence was anonymously delivered to Lilliana's phone, she was so enraged that she nearly destroyed it.

“What the hell is happening? Didn't we resolve the plagiarism issue with a payout? Why is there still so much evidence floating around?"

Her male assistant looked bewildered, unable to grasp why she had suddenly become so angry. “Miss Willis, I've been extremely cautious. What's the issue?"

"You really have to ask? Take a look for yourself!"

Lilliana thrust her phone into his hands. The assistant hastily browsed the messages, his expression turning to one of shock.

The details were meticulous, and the sender seemed highly competent.
