Chapter: 290
Miguel finally got the latest news at midnight.

"Mr. Hewitt, Shawn was born in Osewood," his assistant reported.

Miguel turned and smiled slightly. “He was born in Osewood? Interesting. Continue."

"It turns out Shawn's parents were not the overseas Murphy family but the local Aston family in Osewood. When the Aston family went bankrupt, Shawn disappeared. He was later adopted by the Murphy family."

After a pause, the assistant went on, “The Murphy family values him highly. His status as an adopted son has always been kept a secret."

Miguel pondered for a moment, repeating the phrase "Aston family" in his mind.

"I see." With a knowing smile, Miguel extended his hand to his assistant. "Bring me the file on the suburban project from ten years ago."

Soon, the documents were in his hands. He skimmed through them until his gaze landed on a familiar name: Aston Group.

"I've found it." A grin spread across Miguel's face, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

It was clear now; Shawn was the lost child of the Aston family.

Their failed project had led to their financial ruin.

Now that Shawn had changed his name and returned to Osewood, he likely had revenge in mind.

With this thought, Miguel realized everything fell into place.

"Update the project files and pinpoint the Aston Group's bankruptcy on Alan's parents. Also, locate everyone involved in the project and arrange a meeting with Shawn to confirm these details. Keep this confidential."

The assistant affirmed, "Mr. Hewitt, rest assured. I'll handle it immediately."

Once the assistant had taken the project files, Miguel poured himself another glass of wine and downed it.

Kaitlin reached Estresa right on schedule.

The event organizers had arranged a pickup for her and booked a hotel room.

"Ms. Gilbert, should you need anything during the event, please let me know and I'll arrange it," the organizer said, handing her a business card.

Kaitlin accepted the card and expressed her thanks. "I appreciate your attention."

Estresa was against the sea. It enjoyed spring-like weather all year round, making the climate very pleasant.

It was noticeably warmer here than in Osewood.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Kaitlin called Alan to update him.

Phoebe had organized two personal assistants for her, ensuring she wouldn't have to worry about a thing. She was now considered a high -priority protected individual.
