Chapter: 348
“Mr. Hewitt, here are your flowers," Dylan said.
Alan frowned and said, “Red rose? That's a bit too flashy."
Dylan offered an awkward smile. "Mr. Hewitt, many women favor roses, so I chose these. Would you like something different?"
Alan accepted the bouquet and said, "No, these will do."
Alan then drove to Oasis Studio. At that moment, Kaitlin was examining a rejected design draft.
"Have all these been rejected?" Kaitlin looked puzzled.
Although Denton was meticulous, she found it hard to believe that most of their designs were sent back.
Could it be that tastes differed significantly between Estresa and Osewood?
Phoebe exhaled deeply. "Yes, the assistant specified the issues, so I couldn't argue and had to return them. But since this is our first collaboration, their thoroughness is a good sign. It's better than encountering problems later."
Kaitlin nodded. "Then let's have the designers revise them. I'll review everything again to ensure it all goes smoothly."
“Okay," Phoebe responded. “I'll take these away now. It's late, so you might as well head home early. I'll handle the rest."
Kaitlin gestured dismissively. "I'm okay. Continue with your tasks."
Phoebe exhaled worriedly. Ever since Kaitlin and Alan had their dispute, Kaitlin had thrown herself into her work.
Phoebe was concerned that this might take a toll on Kaitlin's health.
As Phoebe exited the office, she heard a noise at the door.
She followed the sound and saw Alan entering, holding a bunch of red roses in his arms.
Alan seemed a bit uneasy, but Phoebe brightened up and hurried over.
“Mr. Hewitt? Are you here to apologize? The flowers are lovely, and they're still fresh," Phoebe teased.
Alan was used to it and didn't care about it. "Where's Kaitlin?"
Phoebe directed him to Kaitlin's office. "She's in there. Just try to keep the peace this time. You both need to talk. Should I come with you?"
Alan shook his head, declining Phoebe's offer. "No, thanks."
He inhaled deeply and stepped into Kaitlin's office.
Kaitlin, assuming it was Phoebe, didn't look up. "Was there something else?"
Only when the red roses appeared before her did Kaitlin look up in surprise. “Alan, what brings you here?"
