Chapter: 63
She resolved to wait until she saw Alan again and then persuaded him to declare their divorce.
Once they had finished their meal, a reinvigorated Beth proposed they continue shopping before returning home.
Kaitlin had no real option but to follow her.
In a high-end boutique, Lilliana was instructing the staff authoritatively. She was dressed in the latest fashion, which highlighted her inviting figure.
She looked at her reflection in the mirror, clearly pleased with herself.
“Wrap everything up for me," she demanded.
The staff hurried about, catering to her needs, and overlooked Kaitlin and Beth, who had just walked in.
Beth, accustomed to receiving premium service, found the disregard shocking.
Kaitlin's eyes immediately found Lilliana.
It was her first encounter with Lilliana post-scandal. Given the loss of support from Lilliana Jewelry and the Hewitt Group, her finances were expected to be in ruins.

Where was the funding coming from?
Just then, a salesperson came up to Lilliana with a card machine in hand.
"Miss Willis, how would you like to pay?" she inquired.
Lilliana shot her a dismissive glance. "Do you not realize who I am? Put it all on Mr. Hewitt's account."
“But, Miss Willis, this is the third time you've made that request this month. When will Mr. Hewitt be here to settle his accounts?"
Once the cherished companion of Alan, Lilliana was a well-known figure among the shops at Century Plaza.
The first two times she invoked Alan's name, they had reluctantly acquiesced to her demands.
Now, on this third occasion, their suspicion was growing.
Was Lilliana attempting to dodge the payment?
"Didn't you hear me the first time? I told you Alan would handle it. What seems to be the issue here?" Lilliana, now changing back into her own attire, radiated impatience. "You folks really are hopeless! At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if your business failed!"
They exchanged looks, visibly upset yet remaining silent.
"What are you waiting for? Hurry and pack up these dresses for me!"
Lilliana demanded.
