Chapter: 1152
Jayson was making his move on Bethany! What if Jayson succeeded in winning Bethany over after his persistent efforts?

Jonathan seemed confused. “What do you mean?"

“It's serious! Don't you see the risk of losing someone very important? Someone is making moves!"

“Who's being targeted for a job offer at Bates Group?"

Nikolas paused, then replied, “Bethany.”

"She's handed in her resignation. She'll be leaving the company in six months."

"I'm not just talking about her job. I'm talking about the mother of your children! Are you really okay with Bethany potentially finding a new partner for Rowan and Nola?" Nikolas smirked. "You don't realize the extent of what I've done for you!"

He even offended his future wife's cousin. Yet, Jonathan seemed surprisingly indifferent.

After a brief silence, Jonathan asked quietly, “Has Jayson spoken to you?"

"I didn't say that! You guessed it yourself!" Nikolas said.

Aimee had told him to not tell Jonathan.

"Looks Like you listen to Aimee's every order," Jonathan said with a chuckle.

“At least I'm better off than you; you want to Listen to Bethany's orders but can't."

"Nikolas!"

"Alright, whatever you do is up to you. I've done my part by telling you all I needed to say."

Nikolas thought he had wearied himself with worry regarding their affairs. He wouldn't want to annoy Jayson, at least for Aimee's sake.

Nobody would be able to save Jonathan if he acted just as Jayson had said; if Jonathan didn't return to keep an eye on his ex-wife, then it would prove that he had really given up.

Meanwhile, in Floria, Francine fainted after she got a call from the court and was rushed to the hospital.

The doctors tried their best to revive her. Afterward, she began to shout at the top of her voice.

"Tell Jonathan I want to see him right now! He tries to send his mother to jail? What kind of son is he?"

Godfrey, who sat by her bedside, was just as angry. He wasn't just mad at his son, but also at his wife.

"I warned you from the start not to get involved, but you didn't heed my words. Instead, you hid it from me. Now look at the mess your actions have caused us. This is terrible!"

Francine turned and looked angrily at her husband. She still didn't think that she had done anything wrong.

“From the start? You insisted that Bethany wasn't good enough for our son. So why blame me now that things have gone south?"
