Chapter: 349
Arianna added, hinting at a past encounter.

“Really?”

Arianna added, “I used to work at Bates Group."

Bethany was at a loss for words.

To ease the tension, Arianna smiled and said, “Don't worry, it's nothing serious. I just remember seeing you there. You were quite striking, very memorable!"

"I was just an assistant back then."

“But nobody at Bates Group is ever just idle." Arianna seemed to have more to say, but the conversation ended there.

Bethany wondered how much Arianna was privy to her past.

Thankfully, during her tenure at Bates Group, except for her conflict with Maddie, few were aware of her marriage to Jonathan.

She hadn't encountered Arianna at Bates Group nor had she heard of Arianna, indicating Arianna likely didn't occupy any key roles.

"Let's take a tour of the site and then I can show you our planning and design drafts.”

“sure," Arianna replied, giving Bethany another thoughtful look.

Bethany was undeniably attractive.

Though her beauty wasn't striking in the conventional sense, she had a charming, youthful glow that radiated both innocence and allure.

Leading Arianna around, Bethany showcased the distinctive aspects of Westsilver.

It wasn't until she received a message from Aimee stating she had arrived with Nola that Bethany delegated her responsibilities to Colt and hurried back to the hotel.

As she walked through the door, Nola sprinted toward her with a delighted squeal. "Mommy! Mommy, I missed you so much!"

Scooping Nola into her arms, Bethany planted a kiss on her cheek.

“Mommy missed you too, sweetheart."

Aimee followed, her eyes twinkling with amusement. “You wouldn't believe it, Bethany. When I took Nola out today, she became the center of attention. Everyone thought she was a little celebrity."

“Aimee, try to avoid taking her out." Bethany was deeply concerned that people from Bates Group might see Nola.

After all, Nola bore a striking resemblance to Jonathan.

"It's been so many years, and Jonathan is getting married. Even if he finds out, I doubt he'll do anything about it. Maybe he'll even pretend that he doesn't know, afraid that you'll ask him to pay child maintenance." Aimee, having seen the news of Jonathan's upcoming wedding, curled her lips and rolled her eyes in frustration.

"He seemed so devoted back then, and now he's marrying someone else. You really can't trust men."
