Chapter: 471
Once he hung up the phone, Jonathan quickly instructed Brody to track Bethany and Ryan's car.

Jonathan was curious about who had run away from home, causing Bethany such concern. He felt a strong urge to help her, even if she might not want or need it.

It was Jayson who had called Bethany.

He had informed her that Rowan had run away from home, leaving a note expressing his desire to return to the country to see his mother.

Ryan was confused about the situation. He asked Bethany what had happened, but she remained silent.

Bethany kept her personal life a secret; she refused to share anything further. Ryan was already aware of the connection between her daughter and Jonathan; revealing anything about her son was out of the question.

Besides Aimee, Jayson was the only other person who knew about her second child.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Bethany quickly packed her things, preparing to head to the airport.

She needed to discuss her son with Aimee. If they couldn't find a solution, she would leave the country in search of him.

"Where are you going?" Ryan asked.

As soon as Bethany stepped outside, she spotted Ryan still waiting at the corner. "Ryan, I need to head home."

"Did something happen to your daughter?" Noticing Bethany's urgency, Ryan took a guess.

After a brief moment, she nodded. "Yes, I really need to go. Ryan, I might have to request a few more days off."

She felt uncertain about how long it would take to find her son.

“Sure, take as many days as you need. Just one condition. I want to come with you."

He was eager to be part of Bethany's life and get to know her daughter.

To his surprise, Bethany shook her head. "No. My daughter doesn't want to see people she doesn't know."

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Ryan quickly replied, “I'm just here to help. That's all there is to it. Your daughter is gone, and I'm concerned about her."

“I'll handle it myself. Thanks anyway," Bethany said, preparing to leave with her suitcase.

Ryan quickly stepped in and grabbed the suitcase. “How about I drive you to the airport instead?"

"No, Ryat"

"It'll take forever to get a taxi. You really should just use my car!"

"Alright."

Bethany's mind was racing. Making a clean break with Ryan felt impossible right now; all she wanted was to find Rowan as quickly as she could.
