Chapter: 510
Meanwhile, Rowan was positioned 500 meters from a hidden warehouse, glancing at his phone, observing the icons moving on the display.

With a blank expression, he reset the entrance code to “idiot,” then wiped all the data from the system.

“Thinking of attacking me while I was asleep? Absurd."

Afterward, Rowan checked his messages.

Jayson had sent numerous texts, which Rowan had ignored until now.

Considering it had been a few days since his departure, he decided it was time to stop causing them worry. Pouting, he dialed Jayson.

"Uncle, come pick me up! I'll send you my coordinates."

After ending the call, Rowan settled into the grass nearby, amused as he watched the clueless searchers on his motion detector.

They thought they could track him using infrared detectors?

Ridiculous; he had already made himself undetectable to their devices.

Feeling mischievous, Rowan sketched a large tiger on his phone and sent it to their devices.

Soon after, he overheard a panicked voice not far off. “Oh no! There's a big animal that looks like a tiger nearby! Run!"

The red dots on the device hastily moved in one direction, causing Rowan to laugh.

“Why be scared of a tiger?"

He sketched an even bigger dinosaur on the screen.

If Jayson hadn't arrived promptly, those trackers might have thought they had wandered into a wildlife park, seeing lions, rhinos, and all sorts of animals popping up on their screens.

“Rowan, over here!" Jayson shouted, gesturing frantically.

Rowan ceased his pranks and walked towards him.

Aware of the danger in the area, Jayson escorted Rowan to the car.

It wasn't until they were safely within the city limits that Jayson looked back at the boy in the rear seat.

"Do you want to give your mom a heart attack?"

"No," Rowan answered simply.

“Then why didn't you let me know you were leaving? A little warning would have been nice!" Jayson reprimanded him, a mix of anger and concern in his voice.

Rowan maintained a composed demeanor, almost adult-like.
