"Miss Holt." Brody greeted Bethany without any surprise as if he had been expecting her.

“Just call me Bethany!" She was there to learn, primarily from Brody.

How could she allow him to keep calling her Miss Holt?

Brody was momentarily taken aback. "Mr. Bates instructed me to personally take care of you. I should address you formally as Miss Holt."

Having been with Jonathan for many years, Brody had never observed him being close with any woman. Even with Maddie, the chief lawyer, Jonathan maintained a professional distance. This time, however, Jonathan asked him to assist Bethany.

Brody deduced she must have a unique place in Jonathan's heart.

Unable to convince him otherwise, Bethany, unable to clearly define her relationship with Jonathan, simply nodded. “Thank you for Looking out for me. I haven't been in this field for a long time, so I need your guidance. If I make any mistakes, please point it out so I can correct it."

Brody was taken aback by her willingness to admit she might need help. It was refreshing.

Receiving directives from Jonathan, Brody had anticipated Bethany to be quite assertive, given that she had Jonathan's support.

Brody now viewed Bethany quite favorably.

"Let's start with a tour of the project department, then I'll show you to your office," Brody suggested.

“Okay, thank you," Bethany responded.

After walking through the headquarters with Brody, Bethany familiarized herself with the building's layout. From the observation deck at the top of the building, she looked over the expansive grounds and Odonset's skyline, finding herself impressed by Jonathan, not for his wealth, but his capability and dedication to his work.

Despite his wealth and stature, Jonathan worked relentlessly, often staying later than Bethany herself.

His reputation as the country's leading young entrepreneur, which had been celebrated multiple times as a true pillar of the industry, came as no surprise.

Following the tour, Bethany got stuck into her work.

The environment here was far more energetic than at Ensson Corporation. Everyone was intently focused on their screen, with no time wasted.

Although Bethany was exhausted by the day's end, she thoroughly enjoyed the hustle.

As the workday wrapped up, Bethany organized her desk and confirmed her upcoming flight to Brokdon with Brody. Just as she was about to head out, Jonathan called her.

The timing of Jonathan's call was so uncanny that Bethany suspected he might have cameras in her office.

“Meet me in the parking lot," Jonathan instructed.

“You're heading out too?" Bethany inquired.

“Yes, there's an international meeting at 1 a.m. I'll handle it from home," he explained.

After hanging up, Bethany made her way to the underground parking lot with a smile. Yet, from afar, she saw Maddie standing next to Jonathan.
