Chapter: 678
"No way!" Now it was Jonathan's turn to panic. “You can't just walk out on me."

“Is there anything else you need to say?"

Absolutely!

He had something crucial to say!

Jonathan caught her gaze and then subtly looked down, drawing her attention to his lower half... which was evidently still aroused.

"Bethany, don't be so heartless."

Heartless?

She felt like escaping to another country.

"Goodnight !"

Bethany attempted to leave, but then she heard Jonathan gasp from behind her.

“Hey... Ouch!"

She hurried back, scanning him worriedly. "What's the matter? Did you aggravate your stitches? Are you hurting?"

Looking up, Jonathan's eyes twinkled with mischief.

“Jonathan! You're utterly shameless!"

Jonathan gripped her wrist tightly, his features taut with seriousness. “Bethany, this really hurts."

"Where does it hurt?" she asked.

“Down here," he replied, grimacing slightly. "The pain comes from holding back."

Bethany was at a loss for words. She wanted to pull away, but she was cautious not to hurt him. Caught in a dilemma, she pleaded, "Can we not do this, please? Even if I stay, I'm powerless to help!"

He couldn't even stand, let alone engage in anything more intimate.

"I might not be able to stand, but you could take the lead," he suggested.

Again, Bethany was speechless, her expression one of sheer disbelief.

“You were adamant about taking the lead that night at the hotel,"

Jonathan, throwing caution to the wind, confessed without a hint of embarrassment. "You complained I was too heavy and wanted to set the pace yourself!"

"That's enough." Bethany interjected repeatedly. "I must have been out of my mind that night."
