Chapter: 787
"Yes, I do."
Jonathan took a deep breath and gripped her hand firmly. "I'll give you one month. I hope your answer will not disappoint me."
“Okay.”
He then stood up and switched on the light, instantly brightening the room.
Bethany tried to get up to prepare Jonathan's bath, but a sharp pain in her lower abdomen stopped her as soon as her feet hit the floor.
Noticing her discomfort, Jonathan asked, “What's wrong?"
“It hurts," Bethany replied.
“I'll call the doctor."
Bethany quickly clutched his arm, giving him a disapproving look.
"Don't you know why?"
If the doctor came, how would she explain the situation?
Should she mention it was because he was too forceful earlier?
Jonathan paused, his ears reddening in embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I won't do it again."
At that moment, he realized he hadn't been thinking clearly. The more he thought about it, the more agitated and irrational he became.
Although he often yielded to his desires, he never intended to hurt her; he always prioritized her comfort, even if it meant restraining himself.
If Jonathan had truly disregarded restraint, Bethany would have been in severe pain.
The bathroom was clouded with steam.
Bethany gently washed Jonathan's back, carefully avoiding his wound as she moved.
"I had Brody buy a villa in Harvein for us."
Just as she was about to rinse out the cloth, Jonathan's voice came from behind her.
“What? Why?"
“Don't you want to experience the snow in Harvein? We could stay there during the winter months."
Bethany hesitated, feeling a sudden pain in her heart.
Jonathan always paid close attention to her words, even if she herself had forgotten. He remembered everything and made efforts to realize her wishes.
