Nikolas ended the call and looked up at the apartment building, his eyes fixed on the door to Aimee's parents’ place.

He couldn't help but wonder if she would get suspicious when she saw him.

Nikolas fastened his coat and leaned back against the car, settling in for a brief nap due to his fatigue.

All of a sudden, he jolted upright and grabbed for his phone to make a call to his secretary.

“Bring your car here now."

“Bring your car here and then take my car to my garage."
