Chapter: 796
Bethany often felt like a burden, inadvertently affecting Aimee's and Jayson's chances at romance.

Seeing her delete the photo, Jonathan dropped the subject.

"So, if Aimee's blind date goes well, do you think she'll get married soon?"

“Who knows," Bethany typed as she spoke. "With her personality, she might even decide to get married on a whim."

Jonathan's face stiffened for a moment. He hesitated, then asked, "What's your take on Aimee and Nikolas?"

Bethany paused her typing and looked up. “You know Nikolas better than I do."

Jonathan was at a loss for words.

"Can he really settle down and lead a normal life with Aimee? It seems he's interested, or he wouldn't keep mentioning her and even return to the country for her. But how long will his interest last? Who can really tell?"

Jonathan couldn't make any promises about that.

He was quite familiar with his friend. Nikolas hadn't shown much seriousness in his romantic pursuits over the years. Jonathan found it surprising that Nikolas seemed genuinely interested in Aimee.

It appeared that Aimee was the only one who could make Nikolas pause and consider something real.

However, it was uncertain how long Nikolas' interest would last.

He was impulsive, much like Aimee. Even if they ended up together, it wasn't a sure thing that it would last all the way to marriage.

Bethany messaged Aimee on her phone.

"I think this guy might be your type. Go and have a look. Meeting him is the only way to know if there's something there. You can't tell just by looks.”

Aimee replied with a shy emoji.

“I might actually have a boyfriend soon! Ha-ha! My dad finally came through. He introduced me to a handsome guy! They say he's tall, just started a business overseas, owns a home and a car in Odonset, and makes about a million a year."

“Sounds Like he has a lot going for him," Bethany responded.

Aimee sent a laughing emoji. "That's the advantage of parent-arranged blind dates. They find out everything! They've even checked his salary, house, and car! But... In fact, I'm a bit worried he might not like me."

Because her job lacked stability and she was not in a high-paying industry. Although she was an only child and would inherit her parents' wealth, it wasn't a significant amount.

Furthermore, she considered herself to look quite plain.

Aimee sent a sighing emoji and added, “Bethany, if only I had your looks! Then he would definitely be intrigued by me!"

When Bethany read Aimee's message, she instinctively glanced over at Jonathan.

Luckily, he wasn't looking her way. If he had, he might have gotten jealous again.
