Chapter: 847
He hadn't expected Aimee to be so candid about such a topic.

"I...1 don't mind," Zeke said after a significant pause. "That was in your past."

“Are you sure?"

"Yes! Everyone has a past, but it's the future that counts."

Aimee was taken aback by his maturity. She turned off the light, feeling a bit embarrassed. “Let's go. I'm really hungry.”

"Okay!"

Zeke truly was a decent guy.

Despite his youth and lack of experience, he showed thoughtfulness in his actions and words.

At dinner, he took good care of her.

Initially, when Aimee found out he had only been in a relationship in high school, she thought about pulling back. She didn't want to cause him any pain, but after having dinner with him, she decided to get to know him better.

Since he expressed that he was okay with her past, there was no reason for her to hold back.

Towards the end of their meal, Zeke excused himself to use the restroom. Aimee knew he was going to settle the bill.

She pulled out a compact mirror from her bag to touch up her lipstick, but in the reflection, she spotted a familiar figure.

Nikolas!

It was him again!

Aimee quickly stowed her mirror and turned around, only to see that Nikolas hadn't noticed her and was still enjoying the company of his friends.

Suddenly, Aimee recalled what Zeke had mentioned. All the affluent people in Odonset frequented this restaurant.

She hadn't anticipated that she would run into Nikolas here of all days.

Before Zeke returned, Aimee quickly gathered her things and left.

She decided to wait for Zeke at the restaurant's entrance to avoid being seen by Nikolas.

After paying the bill and freshening up, Zeke returned to find Aimee's seat empty.

He scanned the room but couldn't spot Aimee anywhere. Worried she might have left due to his Lengthy absence, Zeke immediately pulled out his phone to call her.

The call was quickly answered.

“Aimee, where are you?"
