Chapter: 898
“I'll join you for the meal."
“Alright.”
After leaving Jayson's house, Aimee remained silent.
Recognizing that she was upset, Nikolas decided to drive to the underground parking area of a nearby shopping mall.
"What's the plan?" Aimee asked.
"We're going shopping. I promised to buy you some clothes before, and I haven't had the chance to do so yet. Didn't you mention that buying new clothes can lift your spirits?"
Aimee's brows furrowed. "You seem quite experienced in this."
"I swear, I usually just give money and avoid accompanying women on shopping trips."
“You've been swearing a lot lately."
“But I am being sincere. I promise!" Nikolas looked at her earnestly, almost pleading as he held her hand.
Aimee's lips curved into a smile. "Actually, I do believe you. If you treated all your girlfriends like this, you'd probably be completely worn out."
“I'm glad you understand!" Nikolas breathed a sigh of relief. “Shall we go? You can buy anything you want today."
Aimee's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Then I'll need to spend a bit more."
"Alright! As long as you steer clear of pink clothes, you can shop to your heart's content. I could even clear out the store for you if that's what you want."
Aimee chuckled and said, “I'm just joking. Don't make such a big deal out of it."
She laughed, knowing she wasn't serious about spending Nikolas’ money lavishly.
Hand in hand, they entered the shopping mall. Aimee didn't head to the luxury brands but instead browsed through some more accessible, everyday options.
"You really don't need to save money for my sake," Nikolas reminded her.
"I just don't think high-end items suit me." Aimee could easily afford luxuries if she wanted to, especially with Jayson's financial support. However, she didn't see herself as part of the upper class, so she preferred not to buy any Luxurious items.
They wandered through the mall, enjoying their time together. Aimee started to feel thirsty, so Nikolas decided to head over to a nearby beverage shop to get some water for her.
As Aimee waited, she noticed several girls glancing at Nikolas. A few of them even took out their phones, surreptitiously snapping photos of him.
It wasn't that surprising because his striking appearance made him hard to ignore.
Suddenly, Aimee heard someone call out Nikolas' name from behind her.
"Mr. Bennett, what a coincidence!"
