Chapter: 967
“What about me?"
"Ex-girlfriend. What else?"
"Nikolas! Are you not seeing this clearly? Am I not prettier? Don't I have a better figure than hers? Look at where her parents live, in this rundown area. She doesn't deserve you."
“Shut up!" Nikolas‘ irritation deepened. He approached Siena, towering over her. "No matter what you think of Aimee, it's not your place to judge. And to me, she surpasses you in every way."
Siena was stunned.
“Remember, you're my friend's cousin, and I've kept my patience with you. Don't push your luck." Nikolas straightened his black flight jacket, leaning against his car. After finishing his cigarette, he crushed it out. "Go now, and don't cause any trouble. If my girlfriend and I fight because of you, I won't forgive you."
As he turned to walk away, Siena rushed in front of him, blocking his path. "Then don't forgive me, because I'm not ready to let this go."
Nikolas narrowed his eyes, his gaze growing colder. “Siena, I'm not the kind of man who holds back just because you're a woman."
"Then do it, hit me. It'd be less painful than watching you marry someone else."
"Fuck..."
"Nikolas, remember our last time together in a hotel? You didn't wear a condom."
Nikolas' words caught in his throat.
Siena gave a faint smile. "You were in such a rush that day. I warned you, but you ignored me. A month later, I discovered I was pregnant."
"But that was two years ago!"
“Yes, and so.."
Before Siena could continue, Nikolas tensed, grasping the full implication.
"Fuck! You gave birth to the baby?"
"Yes." Siena nodded.
This revelation left Nikolas completely stunned.
Siena continued to whisper, “At that time, you said you never wanted to get married or have children, so I didn't dare to tell you. I was afraid you would force me to get rid of the baby. I mean, it's yours, and I couldn't bear to..."
“Wait, wait!" Nikolas instinctively glanced upstairs, then quickly pulled Siena into his car. "Let's talk somewhere else."
He stepped on the gas and drove off without even checking his phone.
Upstairs, Aimee had been watching the whole scene through the window.
It would be a lie for her to say that she didn't care at all.
